Hansani Liyanage has obtained her B.A. (Hons) in Special degree in Economics and Statistics from University of Peradeniya in 2018. In 2020, she has completed her M.A. in Economics (Hons) from Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Peradeniya. Apart from that, she has completed a Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management (PQHRM) from Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) in 2017 and completed Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (PgDip) from Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in 2019. She has also won the Kenneth Abeywickrama Memorial Award as the best student in 2019 and she was awarded as the All Island subject prize winner for two subjects in 2018 & 2019. Furthermore, she has completed her second Masters in Education in M.Ed in 2022 from Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Peradeniya. In 2019, she joined the industry and started off as a lecturer in Economics in the same year. Currently, she is working as a business school lecturer. She is teaching a variety of subject areas such as Microeconomic, Macroeconomics, Statistics, Marketing, International economics, International Marketing, Human Resources Management, Finance Management and accounting.
