Reading for MSc. in Applied Statistics (PGIS, Peradeniya), BSc (Hons) Special Degree in Mathematics (UOP, Peradeniya)

Madhuka Sachini Sriyananda is a well experienced and highly qualified lecturer in the field of Mathematics. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Peradeniya, Faculty of Science where she specialized in Mathematics. Madhuka is currently following the master’s degree in Applied Statistics at Post Graduate Institute of Science (PGIS), Peradeniya. 

 

Madhuka commenced her career as an educator in Mathematics as a Temporary lecturer for the mathematics department of Faculty of Science of University of Peradeniya in 2017. She then joined as a Program Coordinator and an Assistant Lecturer in a private institute located in Kandy who offers pathway programs to foreign universities. Her passion for teaching in mathematics leads her became a part of APIIT as a lecturer in Mathematics for NCUK program. 

 

Her strong academic background and experiences have given her the ability to teach complex theories in Mathematics in the simplest manner. She always encourages and support the students to enhance their Mathematical skills and uses latest technology and real-world examples to make her lessons more interactive to the students.
