Shivaram Muhunthan, an individual who is determined and is self-motivated towards his goals. A Business School Lecturer at APIIT College having completed his Bachelor of Science (Honors) in International Business Management offered by Staffordshire University (UK). Shivaram was the topper of his batch. He was also one of the two out of 100 odd students who got into the Unilever SPARKS Student Ambassador program representing the college and the company. Further, Shivaram worked at Unilever for the modern trade as an assistant for the Channel Marketing department. This was where he learnt the required industry knowledge that an individual need for survival after graduating. Shivaram is currently reading his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Staffordshire University (UK) as well. In addition to academics, he is also a Toastmaster for more than four years where he was the Vice President of Public Relations and later the President and also served as the APIIT Kandy Toastmasters Club’s Club Mentor. He is the current patron of the Kandy Student Activity Club where he guides and foreshadows his committee of students representing the whole study body of the campus. He is determined in this with the aim of personal development as a leader and ensuring all the students aspire the same. Shivaram is also an entrepreneur having started his own business in the apparel sector and he is also a tutor for more than three years for the students studying the London syllabus in the commerce stream.
