M. Maheema N. Rajapakse obtained a Professional Graduate Diploma from the British Computer Society (Equivalent to a UK Honors Degree) in 2006 and obtained professional membership as a member of the Chartered Institute for I.T., (MBCS) in 2007. She also possesses an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Peradeniya awarded in 2014 with a GPA of 3.7 out of 4. Currently, she is reading for her PhD in Business Administration at the University of Peradeniya in the field of Human Resource Management and Business. She is an experienced professional with more than 15 years of experience in the field of education, accumulated in the capacity of a lecturer as well as an administrator in a few private higher educational institutions in Sri Lanka, as well as abroad. As a result of her interest and commitment towards continuous development and professional competence, she has also completed a higher education teacher training programme on Initiating Skills and Learning for Transfer in Youth (ISaLTY) organized by the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology and a Making Teaching Effective (MaTE) programme offered by the Sri Lanka Technological Campus and is committed to making positive changes in the lives of students.
