Shalindi Gallage holds an LLM in International Business Law from Staffordshire University (UK), achieving a first-class distinction Award. She is a double-degree holder, having earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of London in 2020, with a QLD. Shalindi was among the top scorers for commercial law and achieved Merit passes for Tort Law, Jurisprudence, and Public Law.
In addition, she possesses a BA (Special) Degree in International Studies from the University of Kelaniya, with a Second-class upper Division. Shalindi completed her Diploma in English at the Royal Institute of Colombo and holds a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge. She also obtained a Diploma in Computer Studies (DICS) and higher education certificates in Graphic Designing and Human Resource Management. Furthermore, she holds an Honors Pass from the London Academy of Language Skills & Dramatic Art. Shalindi has garnered All-Island awards for TV news reading, Radio News reading, and Public Speaking in the Sri Lanka Festival of Music and Speech affiliated with the British & International Federation. She has worked as a TV personality and was a Finalist in the all-island interuniversity speech competition “Best Speaker” in 2019.
In 2021, Shalindi joined the faculty as a full-time Law Lecturer, teaching Business Law & Commercial Awareness, English Legal System & Legal Skills, and E-commerce for both full-time and part-time batches. She lectures at NCUK, The University of Consortium (APIIT Lanka), as the Lecturer in Global Studies and Sociology (Internal Foundation Year). Shalindi has also taught the module “Law for Managers” in the business school and served as a visiting lecturer at a leading institution.Her research focuses on Intellectual Property, Business Law, E-commerce, International Relations, and International Humanitarian Law. Shalindi is dedicated to Media and Telecommunication rights, Performing Artists and Singer’s rights. Her motivation for lecturing lies in helping students become inspiring and talented professionals who can contribute to the advancement and development of society.

- Published an abstract on the topic “The Violation of International Law in Crimea: Russia’s Dark Secret” at the International Students’ Symposium 2021, University of Kelaniya, under the theme ‘Globalization at Crossroads: Searching for a Sustainable Future.’ Shalindi was awarded the Best Presenter.
- Published a policy paper on “Peace Reconciliation of Uganda” at the Youth Conference on International Relations 2018 held at the University of Kelaniya.
